“BC Rap Knockout : Mumbai Vs Delhi”: Boxer Vijender Singh & Riteish Deshmukh Fight For Their HomeTown In This Song!

Boxer Vijender Singh joins Riteish Deshmukh for his ‘Bank Chor’ Rap song as a special appearance and the two put their heart and soul in fighting the legendary battle of Mumbai Vs Delhi that will leave you in splits.

The lyrics of the rap song will provoke another ‘war’ between Delhiites and Mumbaikars and it is sure to rock the internet.

Both the stars take jab at each other’s city people and mannerisms..like the ‘oye’ used to call out in Delhi city is faced with the ‘kissing’ sound made in Mumbai.. the lingo used on streets like pyaaz-kanda, bhaag-phut, aloo-batata, roti-chapati.. to the stars cities gave.. SRK-Salman, Sehwag-Sachin… This battle is actually classic!

The track, composed by Shameer Tandon and written by lyricist Varun Likhate, is titled “BC Rap Knockout: Mumbai vs Delhi”.

Vijender has traded rap punches on the song, delivered to the voice of underground desi rapper Pardhaan, while Riteish’s voice is given by the one of the original Mumbai gully rapper, named Naezy. Both rappers are managed and represented by One Digital Entertainment, which collaborated with Y-Films on the special track, read a statement.

Talking about the experience, Vijender said: “It was great fun for me to go head-to-head with Riteish on this song because of the ‘epic rap battle’ format. I am used to throwing punches in the ring, so this was like a musical punch battle, where I was throwing barbs at Riteish.”

“I felt proud to represent Delhi in this battle, and hope people take it with the same spirit as we made it.”

The inimitable Riteish said: “If there’s one thing I’ve actually loved about doing ‘Bank Chor’, it is that I play a Marathi Manoos in it, who is an absolute Mumbaikar. This song is special to me for the same reason — I got to represent my city, the city of dreams, Mumbai.”

“Bank Chor”, directed by Bumpy and produced by Ashish Patil, will be slated to hit silver screens on June 16.
