It’s an open truth that the kind of efforts Aamir Khan takes to get into the skin of any character is always commendable. After going through a physical transformation for playing Mahavir Singh Phogat in “Dangal”, he went in for some painful experience for “Thugs of Hindostan”.
Aamir Khan underwent deadly permanent nose and ear piercing for his role in “Thugs of Hindostan”. Since his role demanded the same, the actor uninhibitedly decided to get a nose piercing as well as two ear piercing on the right.
Aamir is reportedly leaving no stone unturned to do justice to his new character. The actor apparently went through some painful and sleepless nights, lasting almost a month, as the piercing is on the cartilage.
“It’s well-known how terribly painful nose piercing can be. Not many opt for it to avoid the intense pain. Also, he has gone for two upper ear piercings, which also cause a lot of pain as they have been done on the cartilage bone. On the sets, he screams in pain even when someone touches it by mistake. He isn’t able to sleep on his right side at all,” a source close to the development was quoted saying in a recent report.
Aamir’s nose pierced look has already created a lot of hype. It would definitely be a visual treat for the audiences to witness Aamir in a never seen before avatar.
The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh in pivot roles. The film is slated to release on November 8, 2018.
