Recently several articles have appeared which state that Mohanjodado and Harappa were a part of the much widely spread SARASWATI Culture which also included DholaVira, Lothal etc. All these declined because the river Saraswati dried up due to geological changes.
Mohanjodado happened to be discovered earlier.
What does Dr. Rane Kothare say about this?

Today a small stream is shown as the river Saraswati at the Holy Place Prabhas Patan in the Kathiawar part of Gujarat.
