10 Amitabh Bachchan’s Classic Movies Which Rajnikanth Remade

Amitabh Bachchan is for Bollywood while Rajinikanth is for Kollywood. Well, but there have been times when the Superstar has stepped foot into Bollywood as well.

There are several Hindi blockbusters which have been remade in Tamil, but a few stand out even today. And call it accident or luck, some of the timeless Bollywood flicks, featuring Big B in the lead role were remade in Tamil, with Rajinikanth as the lead.

Now, with the Tamil Superstar all set to floor his fans with his gangster drama Kabali, we give you a quick glimpse of 10 Rajinikanth films which were remakes of Amitabh Bachchan starrers.

Amar, Akbar, Anthony

Big B’s cult film Amar, Akbar, Anthony was remade in Tamil, with Rajinikanth in the lead role. Directed by P. Madhavan, Shankar, Salim, Simon was inspired from the 1977 hit flick Amar, Akbar, Anthony. Rajinikanth also played a role in the Telugu remake, titled Ram Robert Rahim.
