After giving fans a sight of his immense workout regimen, it’s finally revealed what Farhan Akhtar’s next film is all about…

Farhan Akhtar has been sweating quite hard for his tough physique in the past few months. The actor had given a sight of the same recently.

Farhan had entitled the pic as: “Getting into the zone I want for my next film.. details of what, when and with whom to follow.. #fitness #nopainnogain #staymotivated (sic).”

Finally, the news is here that Farhan is geared up to play a boxer in his next film, and that’s why he is training so hard on this body.

Interestingly, the film will be directed by Mohit Suri, whose last directorial Half Girlfriend (2017) didn’t do that great at the silver screens.

Talking about the storyline of the film, it’s said that the whole film is about a father-son relationship. The film has boxing as its backdrop and will be set in two time zones. First, Farhan will play the son, and later, he will play father to a young kid.

Mohit confirmed the news to a leading daily and said, “Goldie (Behl) and I approached Farhan recently with my script on a father-son relationship. He really liked it. I need another actor for the role parallel to Farhan, when he plays the son. The story is close to my own relationship with my father, except that the film has boxing as its backdrop. I was eight when my mother passed away, and my father raised me alone. The story is about the struggle he faced as a single dad at 36. Farhan and I spoke about the script, and he thinks it’s outstanding. On June 23, I will go to the US for two weeks and start my next project when I return.”

It’s said that the basic storyline of the film will be inspired from an old Hollywood film, The Champ (1979).
