Bollywood actress-producer Dia Mirza graced the ramp for designer Anju Modi at the ongoing India Couture Week 2017 in the national capital on Thursday evening.
Dia as a Show Stopper Walked for the designer Anju Modi’s India Couture Week show on Thursday by sashaying down the “environment friendly” runway in a traditional outfit, which is a part of the ‘Sunehri Kothi’ (Golden chalet) collection.
The “Bajirao Mastani” designer chose a superb combination of green and maroon for her lehenga in organza for her showstopper Dia Mirza. The maroon full sleeve velvet blouse and off-white and golden dupatta that she wore around her head, and heavy ethnic jewellery and make-up made her look like she had just finished shooting a period film.
Dia looked like a Rajwada Princess, said Anju, who used cow and deer motifs for her collection.
“Thank you for making me part of this as I am a complete nature lover. I can’t imagine art, motifs inspired by nature. This exclusive collection really depicts that,” Dia said while praising Anju.
